Call 112 in Poland for an immediate threat to life, serious injury, fire or suspected severe poisoning. The operator sends the appropriate emergency service.
Poland has regional toxicology information and treatment centres rather than one universal public poison hotline. Emergency teams and hospitals contact the appropriate centre. Do not induce vomiting unless instructed; keep the package or chemical label and report the substance, amount, time, age and symptoms.
For a person who is unconscious, convulsing, struggling to breathe or rapidly worsening, call 112 immediately. A pharmacy can help with non-urgent medicine questions but cannot replace emergency assessment.
