Call 112 in Montenegro for an immediate threat to life, serious injury, fire or suspected poisoning. The Operational Communication Centre coordinates the appropriate emergency service.
Do not wait for symptoms after a potentially dangerous exposure. Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by a healthcare professional. Keep the original package or label, move away from fumes when safe, and report the substance, approximate amount, time, route of exposure, age and symptoms.
Hospital emergency and toxicology teams provide clinical assessment. A pharmacist can help with non-urgent medicine questions, but cannot replace emergency care after a significant overdose or chemical exposure.
