Montenegro's public health system records prescriptions electronically through services connected to the Health Insurance Fund. The pharmacy retrieves the prescription using the patient's health-system identity and dispenses it under the applicable insurance and medicine rules.
Bring identification and your health card or the credentials currently requested by the Fund. Not every private prescription or exceptional medicine follows the same workflow, so retain any paper documentation supplied by the prescriber.
If the service is unavailable, ask the pharmacy what fallback is permitted and contact the prescriber when necessary. Do not assume that a screenshot or medicine box can replace a valid prescription.
