Availability of a unified 112 service can depend on location, so use the direct service number when immediate help is needed.
For suspected poisoning, do not induce vomiting unless a clinician instructs you. Keep the medicine pack or chemical label, move away from fumes when safe, and tell the emergency team what was involved, when and approximately how much. Local hospitals and emergency services coordinate toxicology advice; there is no single public nationwide poison-centre hotline equivalent to those in some neighbouring countries.
